Faculty mission:

The formation of a highly qualified engineering personnel base, which has a creative resource for the development of the engineering direction of the country's economy, the intensification of the development of a favorable innovation and technological environment in Pripyat Polesie.

Faculty objectives:

  • ensure the high quality of the provision of educational services based on student - centered training and to ensure the possibility of students getting a high-paying first job by taking into account the requirements and expectations of potential employers;     
  • creation of a personnel base for the development of the potential of scientific and technical research and development, capable of solving the problems facing high-tech industries;     
  • form students' professionally-oriented foreign language communicative competence in accordance with the common European levels of foreign language proficiency;     
  • stimulation of joint research and development activities of scientific and pedagogical workers, graduate students and students in the field of the latest production technologies in science-intensive areas;     
  • attracting Belarusian and foreign representatives of science, education and business to work with the faculty;     
  • mastering foreign experience in the intensification of research activities in the framework of interaction of various research and educational centers with business representatives;

Basic discipline , which will be trained in the specialty "Industrial fisheries": technology processing of fish products ; biotechnology in fish farming ; commercial fish farming; in the production of aquatic biological resources ; technical means   aquaculture ; gidrobiology ; and chtiology ; and hthyopathology ; ecology and toxicology of fish; to Form and fish feeding technology ; morphology and physiology of fish ; p design of fish processing enterprises ; t technological equipment for fish processing enterprises and industries, refrigeration equipment ; with a fish selection ; industrial fishing and others.
Classes in these disciplines are held in modern classrooms, educational laboratories ( Branch laboratory "Innovative technologies in the agro-industrial complex" ) . The main directions of testing and measurements in laboratories: - carrying out research work in the field of animal feeding and feed technology to create scientifically grounded conditions for realizing the potential of animal productivity in organizations and enterprises that are coordinated by the state customer; - implementation of research work in the field of innovative technologies for growing and feeding valuable fish species; - scientific support for the implementation of business plans, the introduction of new technological processes and the release of new types of agricultural products; - development of new highly effective methods of regulation of energy, protein, carbohydrate, vitamin and mineral nutrition of farm animals for organizing the production of competitive livestock products; - Carrying out work on research and comprehensive analysis of the determination of the most important elements in soil and plants, tissue diagnostics of plants with subsequent agronomic consulting.

 
Professional field of activity of a process engineer .

Graduates can work in fish processing enterprises, in organizations of the food and processing industry, in the field of fisheries as process engineers, technologists, foremen of the fish processing workshop, process engineers for fish products processing, master fish breeders, hydrochemists, chemical technicians, specialists on the calculation of recipes.
All foreign students (budget and paid forms of education) are provided with places in a comfortable hostel for the entire period of study.
At the disposal of students is a unique sports complex with an Olympic pool, an ice arena, a universal sports hall, a football stadium, an educational and medical centre, cozy cafes and canteens.
